Hi, I'm Alix! From an early age I was fascinated with style and fashion. My great aunt was a fashion couturier and she fed my interest in fashion and trained me from a young age in garment making.
I started my career in luxury retail before embarking on a role as the PA for the head of production (Vogue Magazine), Conde Nast. Following training at London College of Fashion I moved into fashion styling which included red carpet, album covers, music videos, editorial and fashion shows. I worked with the biggest breaking and most successful recording artists in the Uk for many years - and I loved my job! My clients won awards for their style and I worked with well known photographers such as Rankin and brands such as Hugo Boss, Dolce and Gabbana and magazines that included Dazed and Confused and Vogue.
My work naturally crossed over into personal styling and shopping as the people I worked with needed additional support beyond shoots and professional engagements. Over the years I have developed an extensive knowledge of fashion, from high-end to up and coming designers, streetwear, vintage and sustainable brands. My little black book is second to none.
My expertise doesn't just lie in fashion knowledge but in facilitating a process that quickly draws an understanding of what is needed. I hugely enjoy the interpersonal relationship of working with clients and delivering looks and pieces that exceed their expectations. I have a holistic style of working that considers all lifestyle requirements as well as an individuals personal style. I have a relaxed friendly manner and often receive feedback that - 'I just get it'.
